Hunters Hill
Project Overview
Hunters Hill is a master-planned hillside community in Summerland, developed by Emil Anderson Properties to reflect the natural character of the Okanagan. The project spans over 80 acres of preserved green space and 500 acres of Crown Land. Overlooking Okanagan Lake, it’s designed to integrate residential neighbourhoods with trail networks and natural lookouts.
Project Highlights
- Custom home sites designed to complement the natural topography and highlight expansive views of the valley, mountains and lake.
- Close proximity to Summerland amenities, downtown shopping, outdoor recreation, and the South Okanagan’s agricultural and wine regions.
- Current builder group inclusive of: Benoit Cadieux Construction, Chamberlain Builders, Dilworth Homes, Harmony Homes, Meister Construction, Gibson Custom Homes, Windward Okanagan Homes, JHC Custom Homes and Renovations, and Edgehill Homes.
Community Design & Vision
Hunters Hill is envisioned as a low-density, nature-oriented hillside community shaped around the contours of the land. Homesites are positioned to maximize natural views while minimizing impact on the surrounding environment. Large portions of the site are dedicated to open green space, wildlife habitat areas, and lookout points that preserve the region’s character for future generations.
Through a phased build-out, Emil Anderson Properties is working with a select group of builders to create a cohesive neighbourhood that blends custom architecture with the natural features of the hillside. Trail networks, access to nearby parks, and integration with Summerland’s landscape form the core of the community’s long-term design.
